Dr. Kevin Rubenstein
 
Dr. Kevin Rubenstein has served as the Director of Student Services, Technology, and Assessment in Lake Bluff Elementary School District 65 since the summer of 2013.

In this role, he has worked with teams of teachers to realign the curriculum in District 65 to the Common Core State Standards, helped to prepare the District for the upcoming PARCC Assessments, and worked with students, parents, and other administrators in understanding the instructional shifts related to the Common Core Standards.

Recognizing the importance of infusing technology into the classroom, Dr. Rubenstein chairs the District's Technology Review Team, collaborates with teachers and administrators in implementing new technologies, and provides oversight for the technological aspects of the curricular program.  Further, he works with a team of experts to ensure that the three web sites are user friendly and updated.

Prior to coming to Lake Bluff, Dr. Rubenstein served students, parents, and families in Deerfield School District 109, Lincolnshire Prairie View School District 103, and Lake Zurich School District 95.

He holds a doctorate in Educational Leadership from Loyola University, and three other graduate level degrees from Northern Illinois University, National Louis University, and the University of Southern Maine.  His undergraduate degree is in Political Science from Illinois State University and he is active in various professional organizations.
